On Tuesday, May 19th, between 00:00 and 05:00 (MT), ProPay will perform an upgrade to the production environment 26.PI17.R2 (May Release)

*We have improved our logic for ProPay Master Card (PPMC) ATM Transaction Fee Reversals. Currently, issuing transaction fees are processed even when ATM transactions are reversed. As part of the update, we are enhancing the fee handling logic, to ensure that fees are not applied when transactions are reversed for PPMC ATM transactions. This will ensure a more fair customer experience.

*Improvements have been made to more accurately update the Chargeback Status on the Single Sign-On and Comprehensive Risk Chargeback Reports. Winning chargebacks are now automatically updated to Credited Back and shown in the “Result” column as “Resolved in favor of Merchant ” when a credit adjustment is received.

This update ensures merchants clearly see that the dispute is closed and no further action is required, with consistent status visibility across ProPay Single Sign‑On and the Comprehensive Risk Chargeback Report.

*For ProPay Direct partners who have a signup fee configured at the tier level, we have made improvements to our sign up logic, which will ensure that the merchant's status reflects accurately, as well as the signup fee payment. When payment succeeds via Credit Card or ACH, the status is automatically set to Ready to Process and the partner is notified. If payment fails, the status is set to Check Pending, ensuring an unpaid merchant is never incorrectly activated.

*Improvements have been made to the KYC retry process. After a merchant successfully completes the retry KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process, the system will automatically notify the partner when the merchant's status changes to ReadyToProcess via the Affiliate Notification System. This enables partners to immediately start transacting with the account.
